Standards

Editorial standards

General information, not financial, legal, or tax advice. Verify current terms and eligibility with the provider before applying.

Every page is researched from official sources, written by one named cofounder, reviewed by the other, dated, and corrected when terms change. We publish information, never advice.

Who writes and reviews

Business Bank Index is written and reviewed by its two cofounders, Morten Andersen and Fredrik Filipsson. Both are entrepreneurs and business owners with hands on experience opening and running business accounts across the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Europe, and Asia. Each page is written by one of them and reviewed by the other, so a second named person checks it before it is published.

How we source

We build from official sources first: provider price lists, eligibility pages, and regulator guidance, supported by reputable references. We never invent a bank, a fee, an eligibility rule, or an availability status. A correct not available is worth more to a reader than a wrong available.

Dates and updates

Every fee and feature claim carries an as of date. Every page carries a last reviewed date. We refresh pages when providers change terms and update the reviewed date when we do.

Corrections policy

If a page is wrong, tell us through the contact form and name the page and the detail you believe is incorrect. We check the report against official sources, correct the page, and update the reviewed date. Material corrections are made promptly.

Independence and disclosure

We are not affiliated with any bank. Some links may earn us a commission at no cost to you, and this never changes how we describe or score a provider. Sponsored placements are clearly labelled and are never presented as editorial picks.

Use of tools

We use research and editing tools to help gather and check information, and a named editor reviews every page before it is published. Responsibility for what appears on the site rests with the two cofounders.

What we do not do

We do not give financial, legal, or tax advice, and we do not make a recommendation tailored to your personal situation. We publish information so you can compare and decide for yourself, then confirm current terms with the provider.
