Who writes and reviews
Business Bank Index is run by its two cofounders, Morten Andersen and Fredrik Filipsson. Pages are written by the Business Bank Index editorial team: the two cofounders working with research and drafting tools. A page names a cofounder as its reviewer only when that person has checked it against the provider's own sources. Every other page is credited to the editorial team.
How we check facts
We check fees, eligibility and availability against primary sources: the provider's own price lists, terms and help pages, the regulator's register, and official government pages. Blogs, comparison sites and competitor reviews are not sources. A checked page lists the sources it was checked against and the date of the check.
A claim we cannot confirm from a primary source is not stated as fact. The page says it could not be confirmed and asks you to check with the provider. A correct "not available" is worth more to a reader than a wrong "available".
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to research, draft and check pages. A tool's output is never treated as checked. It counts as checked only once its claims have been confirmed against the primary sources above. Responsibility for every page rests with the two cofounders.
Dates
- Last updated is the date the page last changed.
- Last reviewed appears only when a named person has reviewed the page.
- Every fee and feature claim carries an "as of" date.
- We never backdate a page and never show a review that did not happen.
Corrections
Every correction we make to a fee, an eligibility rule or an availability status is listed in our corrections log with the date and the page. To report an error, use the contact form and name the page and the detail. We check the report against primary sources and correct the page.

We are not affiliated with any bank. Some links earn us a commission at no cost to you. Every such link is labelled as a commission link where it appears. Commission never changes what we publish or how we describe a provider, and a paid link is never presented as an editorial pick.
