General information, not financial, legal, or tax advice. Verify current terms and eligibility with the provider before applying.

No. As of 5 January 2026 bunq does not offer business accounts to companies registered in India. bunq's business account is limited to a set of European countries, currently the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Belgium, France, Austria, Italy and Ireland, and requires the owners to live in the European Economic Area in the same country as the business. A company registered in India, with owners resident in India, does not qualify.

Does bunq serve business customers in India?

No. bunq is a Dutch neobank that offers business accounts only to businesses operating in a defined list of European countries, currently the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Belgium, France, Austria, Italy and Ireland. To open a business account you must live permanently in the European Economic Area, in the same country where the business is registered, and no ultimate beneficial owner or non executive may reside outside the EEA. India is not on the list of supported business countries, and an owner resident in India would fail the residency test, so a company registered in India cannot open a bunq business account. As of 5 January 2026.

Eligibility for businesses in India

There is no eligibility path for an India registered business because bunq's business account requires both a business registered in one of its supported European countries and owners resident in the European Economic Area in that same country. An India registered company with India resident owners meets neither condition. The only way an individual connected to India could use bunq for business is through a separate, genuinely EEA based and resident business, which is a different entity from an Indian company. What it costs locally

There is no India business account pricing to report because bunq does not offer that account to India registered companies. bunq's published business plan fees apply to its supported European markets. For a usable comparison, look at the fees of providers that onboard India registered businesses. As of 5 January 2026

What local users report

Indian businesses do not report using bunq business accounts because the product is limited to European countries and EEA resident owners. Coverage of bunq in an Indian context is usually about personal accounts or travelling in Europe rather than an Indian business account. For a local account, Indian businesses use banks licensed in India, and for cross border collection they use international providers that onboard India registered companies.

bunq does not appear to serve business customers in India as of 5 January 2026, or the position is unclear. Verify directly with the provider. Providers confirmed available in India are listed on the India country guide.
